Many people consider the
usage of natural gas to be only for home, say for example, kitchen stove burner
or some consider it to be used for large power plants only. Whereas the usage
of natural gas is done where not exactly, in almost every product that we use
in a our day to day life involves a highly greater use of natural gas, in fact
without the natural gas, the production process can be very challenging. As a
matter of fact the use of gas is the very reason how we are able to manufacture
several of our products that we happen to be using on daily basis.

Sidewall Coring in Formation Evaluation

The process of obtaining Gas-in-Place
There are several Values, weight fractions,
proximities and ranges are to be found out in actually finding Gas in Place.
These include weight fraction which is obtained through proximate analysis and
the range these exist between 0.05 which is for medium to volatile bituminous
coals and 0.50 which is for sub-bituminous coals.

Effectiveness of Permeability
As the Coalbed Methane keeps being produced
from the reservoirs it is inevitable that the effective amount of permeability
will shift, as there are changes happening within the fluid saturations. It is
possible that the absolute permeability might have some significant impact on
the effective permeability.
